Candace is a California native, but has lived on both coasts. Favorite UF Credits: Blanche in A Streetcar Named Desire (which toured Europe) and Mrs. Bennet in Pride and Prejudice. While pursuing her MFA she has worked professionally at The Hippodrome Theatre: Gloria in Boeing, Boeing, Mina in Dracula and Mrs. Cratchit / Ghost of Christmas Past in A Christmas Carol. Before coming to UF, she was a member of two Shakespeare companies. With Advice to the Players (Sandwich, NH) she performed such roles as Kate in The Taming of the Shrew, Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet, Lady Macbeth in Macbeth and Rosalind in As You Like It. With Shakespeare & Company (Lenox, MA) she trained and performed on two non-equity tours (Helena, A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Portia, Julius Caesar). Other Regional Credits: Doris in Same Time, Next Year and Kate in Sylvia (The Winnipesaukee Playhouse, Laconia, NH).
