Courtenay came to the University of Florida as a
National Merit Scholar and has since taken every
opportunity to explore and create new theatre. Most
recently, she played the Housewife in Rhinoceros
and Debbie in The Real Thing. Other favorite
roles include Ben Affleck in Matt & Ben, Ismene
in Lysistrata (which toured Greece), Seiffert in
The Conquest of the South Pole, Sylvia in
Sylvia, and Magenta in The Rocky Horror Picture
Show. Courtenay also directed the premiere of
Glorious and Gay and is an avid
playwright.
