While pursuing his degree at UF, George performed in a
wide range of theatrical genres, ranging from topical
seriocomic plays to classical musical comedy, from Verdi
opera to Sondheim. In 2006, he received an Irene Ryan
Award nomination for his portrayal of Marcus Lycus in
A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.
Other favorite roles include George in Sunday in the
Park with George, Ko-Ko in The Mikado, and
Honest Sancho in Los Vendidos. George moves to
New York City this fall.
