From Pittsburgh, PA, Teniece Divya has experience in, and a passion for, devised theatre, movement based performance, spoken word, and hip-hop theatre to compliment her MFA training. Her credits include In the Blood (Hester), A Streetcar Named Desire (Stella), Gem of the Ocean (Black Mary), The Pillowman (Det. Ariel), The Piano Lesson (Berniece), The Faculty Room (Zoe), and Polaroid Stories (Persephone/Semele). She’s been blessed to travel, perform and create overseas, in addition to being a veteran member and writer of UF’s hip-hop theatre troupe, Signs of Life.
